Kim Danio Born and raised in Massachusetts, Kim now calls Nova Scotia home. Never veering from a creative path, Kim began her career as an artist selling painted beach stones at the age of five. She went on to study Art History at university, worked in production for a major children’s publisher, ran her own mural and hand-painted furniture business, before devoting time to her first love – illustration.

Kim works traditionally with water colours and loves the entire creative process -from the first flicker of an idea, to the final product. With what seems to be an endless supply of original designs, Kim will surprise and inspire any client she works with.

Bart Henneberry Bart takes the lead in all things administrative and sales, freeing Kim up to do her creative thing. Bart is a devoted husband, commercial real estate broker, Certified Management Accountant, with an MBA. He is well-versed in sales, contracts, and finance. Bart will help make the process of working with Kim Danio Studio run smoothly.

Amy Batchelor & Bryony McStay Graphic Designers Amy Batchelor and Bryony McStay have teamed up to create press-ready digital imagery and design materials for Kim Danio Studios. With a combined 17 years experience the design team brings extensive knowledge of marketing, advertising and design with an emphasis on fine art. Bryony McStay operates a dynamic freelance design practice with a wide ranging clientele from throughout North America. Amy Batchelor is the Graphic Designer at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, a part-time instructor at NSCAD University through the Extended Studies Program and a member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada.
